Our client is a large, award-winning “Top Place to Work” consulting engineering firm located in Houston.
As the Project Engineer you will be contributing to this firm’s residential land development design projects for their many regional private sector clients. The selected candidate will provide civil design solutions for subdivisions, commercial sites and master planned community development projects involving layouts and design, utilities, paving, grading and site drainage. Responsibilities will include: the preparation of construction plans, bond applications, municipal utility district (MUD) engineering, calculations, specifications, bid document preparation, cost estimates and more.
Key Project Engineer-Land Development candidate qualifications:
- A few years of land development design experience with a Texas consulting engineering firm
- BS Civil Engineering degree
- Certification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or recent Professional Engineer License (PE) in Texas (TBPE)
A strong professional work ethic, positive attitude and solid leadership skills are required. Must be capable of working both independently and in the role of a team member. Excellent communication skills when interacting with the in-house project team, government agencies and clients are required. Must possess the ability to efficiently utilize time in completing engineering tasks.
