Senior level opportunity in west Houston with a highly successful and 35+ year Texas consulting engineering firm offering specialized expertise in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure design projects.
As the Lead Professional Engineer-Municipal you will build and direct activities in the firm’s Municipal Engineering Team in Houston including project management, client management, and public sector business development with the assistance of established business development and corporate marketing teams.
Project management responsibilities include the quality of work performed, client service, scheduling and budgeting, staff evaluation and utilization, contract management, billing collection and project profitability for water/wastewater and related municipal projects.
Client and business development activities include working with a team developing client management and business development plans; assisting the Corporate Marketing Manager with the preparation of proposals; maintaining company relationships with clients; contract procurement; providing guidance to PEs and EITs; staff development, professional associations participation, management reporting and more.
Key Lead Professional Engineer-Municipal candidate qualifications:
- Several years of municipal engineering (water & wastewater) project management experience in Houston
- Licensed Professional Engineer by the State of Texas
- BS Civil Engineering degree
- Demonstrated ability to manage clients, develop business and win projects
